When I’m not working as a private chef, you can find me skinny dipping in frigid streams, seeking out a good view for gourmet camp dinners, or hiking with my angelic dog. Odds are, I’m out soaking up every minute of summer (or good snow if it’s winter!).

Traveling regularly reinvigorates my zest for life. It is the simple joys of this world that keep me smiling, and I seek to find them everywhere I go. The only thing better than taking a last minute flight to a new place is having a travel partner by my side.

Life can become monotonous rather quickly if we don't find ways to spice it up from time to time. I'm always on the quest to learn or try something new.

I have always been a curious cat... interested in the seen and unseen fabrics of the universe. Some have described me as "magic" in reflection upon my ability to impact them on an unseen level--walking away feeling lighter and compassionate while not knowing how or why or when the heaviness began melting away.

My openness often comes as a sigh of relief to friends... rest assured there is no room for judgment between you and I. We all carry our complexities differently.

I am mostly tickled by the arts these days... I could spend a lifetime in art museums, concerts, films, libraries, and performances of all kinds generating endless questions and observations. Bonus points for friends who give stellar album recommendations ;)

I began my chef career on a whim, driven by a curiosity of the finer, more textured things in life. My root to rise of dishwasher to sous and executive gourmet chef in just a few years has been nothing short of inspiring. It is a joy and honor to put smiles on others' faces with my artful approach towards food.

As an expert at loudly appreciating the little things in life, don't be surprised when I point out the detail of the lemonade we're sipping on or delight in the leaves changing in our current season.
